Corporate Recovery/ Insolvency

Our recovery specialists across the UK provide a comprehensive service ranging from advising major corporations on reconstruction to helping financially distressed individuals. Our clients include banks, financial institutions, professional advisers, companies, shareholders, directors, partnerships, creditors and individuals.

Purpose of role:

We are looking for somebody to assist the Corporate Insolvency Team in the day to day administration and progression of the departmental caseload ; to take responsibility for administration of a case from commencement of the job to the conclusion. Reporting to Managers, the individual will manage a portfolio of mainly Liquidations.

Principal duties:

* Full case management responsibility
* Performing initial checks on companies and directors
* Securing assets and making redundancies
* Dealing with creditors' queries
* Realising assets through liaison with agents
* Preparing for and attending shareholders' and creditors' meetings
* Investigating Directors' conduct
* Agreeing creditors' claims and making dividend distributions
* The individual will also be responsible for coaching more junior members of the team.

Person Specification
Education / Qualifications:

* Preferably CPI or JIEB qualified or willingness to study towards exams.
