The Role & Key Accountabilities
We currently have new vacancies for Operational Specialists like Bar Specialists and Floor Specialists in our busy, fast-moving "New Meriden Bar and restaurant" at Birmingham Airport.
You will be the face of our business as the quality of service our customers receive is crucial to our success.The roles will iinvolve serving drinks and food,waitering, operating the till, cash handling, clearing tables, maintaining stock levels.

Most of all you will be responsible for upholding the excellent standards of service for which SSP is renowned.

Please note all successful candidates are required to provide a full 5-year reference history and undergo a Criminal Record Check to comply with Airport Security regulations.


Skills & Experience
More than anything, we require an enthusiastic, customer-focused attitude and a willingness to learn- previous beverage experience in a bar, restaurant, food retail or catering is a bonus - we can teach you the rest!
You will enjoy a full company induction and training so you can be successful in your role in this exciting and vibrant environment.
Life at the Airport is not your average '9-5', so candidates must flexible to work to a shift system involving very early starts and late finishes and of course fully flexible for weekends especially available throughout peak season
