Accounts Payable Administrator

Everyones Turning Point is unique. Its the moment when they realise theyve made a small, but important, step forward. Very often, that small step is the start of something bigger. But only when the right support, advice and services are in place. Have you got what it takes to help us make that happen?
We are already the UKs leading health and social care organisation. Every day we help to improve life for individuals with a learning disability or those affected by drug and alcohol problems. That takes dedicated front-line professionals, of course. But it also takes people like you who can work behind the scenes to support the vital work we do.
You will ensure that all invoices and expenses are processed accurately, promptly and in line with our agreed policies. This will involve more than managing validating and processing all purchase documents and scheduling payments. You will ensure the integrity of data and records, ensure accruals and prepayments are accounted for, respond quickly to queries and provide accurate payment analysis for use in cashflow forecasting. Equally importantly, you will maintain strong communication channels and good relationships with both internal and external contacts.
Ideally AAT-qualified, you will need proven data entry, analysis and interpretation experience within a medium to large and preferably commercial organisation. You will certainly know how to manage monthly accruals and prepayments. We will also look to you to reconcile statements to the accounts payable and investigate any discrepancies you find. Strong IT skills particularly in Excel are essential. Add to that your good communication skills and you will quickly make your mark as part of our vibrant and supportive team.
