In seeking to bolster our Senior Management team within this business unit we are inviting interest from an ambitious, driven and experienced Maintenance Manger with a career focus.
Reporting into the Plant Manager you will be responsible for Georgious whole Plant Maintenance function supporting our Commercial Building, Civil Construction and Infrastructure projects across the Perth Metro region and the North West. With management responsibility for the Perth Workshop Manager, Area Maintenance Manager and the Maintenance Planner you will lead a team of experienced personnel towards the continuous improvement and ongoing growth of our Plant maintenance function. Your main areas of focus will be to ensure optimum workshop productivity, streamlined maintenance planning and budgeting and the production of accurate cost reporting whilst highlighting variances on budget. In addition you will identify and subsequently implement strategies for cost saving and process improvement without compromising service delivery and quality.
We are seeking someone with demonstrable experience within a workshop environment managing the maintenance of a significant fleet of plant machinery. Qualified and/or experienced as a Mechanical Engineer, Fitter or with a similar relevant qualification you will hold at least 5 years management experience within a plant hire or supply based business. Additional key competencies in this role include;
Strong communication and people management skills;Demonstrated financial control and budget management experience;The ability to negotiate positive outcomes whilst maintaining effective external and internal stakeholder relationships;Strong initiative with a strategic outlook;A no-compromise attitude to safety.This is a rare opportunity to take on a leadership role within a progressive and evolving Australian business.
