My client represents one of the UKs largest drinks wholesalers with 10 depots and more than 50 Pubs. Their fast growing business presents opportunities for growth nationwide. Due to its expansion and success they are now recruiting for an enthusiastic Assistant Financial Accountant to join their team in the Head Office based in Openshaw, Manchester. With potential for CIMA training support, this is a great role for an aspiring candidate.

As the new Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

Monitoring and reporting of sales representatives:

- Quick Margin - Monthly sales against Budget
- Weekly sales against last years
- Profitability report - Representatives profit margin and breakdown of data (sales price and cost of sales)
- Depot Reports - Monthly, quarterly and year to date performance of individual representatives at Depots
- Margin Split Reports of internal and external sales

Monthly Tasks:

- Ensuring payments are received and reconciled monthly, quarterly and yearly.
- Updating Depot loans and calculating monthly write-offs. Producing loan agreements where necessary.
- Quarterly VAT Return.
- Budgets
- Other ad hoc duties in lieu of accounting staff
