COMPANY PROFILE:

Our client is a leading European manufacturer of rigid plastic primary packaging that has well established relationships with many of the best known brand names within the Household, Beverage, Food, Personal Care and Dairy sectors.
This new role reports to the UK Business Development Manager and will be part of the dedicated UK sales team. The company has a portfolio of ground breaking new products that are ready for exposure to a wider range of new customers. It is all set up a new Business development manager to take full advantage of this position and to provide impetus to the sales effort.

RESPONSIBILITIES.

* The brief will be to look for new sales opportunities, developing relationships with technical, design and marketing teams within the brand owners, the contract companies and with the multiple retailers.
* You will be responsible for delivering the sales budget in accordance with sustainable profitability.
* Build a pipeline for new business opportunities with new customers and/or with new products.
* You will gather the information you need from all the relevant departments and devise a sales plan.

REQUIREMENTS: Business Development Manager, Sales, Rigid Packaging Solutions.

* You will have track record of business development in rigid packaging in one or more of the related sectors i.e. Household, Personal care, Dairy, Juice, Food or Beverage.
* It is important that you have a character that is comfortable developing business from scratch with the ability to give structure to your business generation.
* What kind of packaging material you are selling is not that important but it will have an added value element.
* You will have passion, desire and be structured, energetic and a quick learner.
