We are currently recruiting a Catia Design Engineer for a leader in the aviation industry to be based in Bristol. The successful design engineer will be working on new projects using to the latest versions of Catia such as V5 and V6 for the design, development and production stages for wing related aerospace projects.

The key responsibilities for this aerospace design engineer role will include:

* Developing and managing key sets of requirements in a design environment.

* Providing solutions to meet airworthiness standards and design approvals.

* Developing technical solutions that are compliant with all relevant aviation requirements, and are within agreed timescales and manufacturing constraints.

* Working with design teams to create detail and assembly drawings.

The ideal design engineer should have the following skills and experience:
* Strong background in aerospace engineering.
* Experience in designing and developing metallic and composite components and structures.
* Strong working knowledge of Catia V5

In summary the ideal Catia design engineer will have strong experience of working in the aerospace industry, developing and designing composite and metallic components and structures, preferably wing related, with Catia V5.
