Role Description:
To ensure all products are loaded, handled and delivered in a safe & efficient manner and in accordance with DoT legislation.
To represent the company in a highly professional, safe and cost-effective manner.
To work with other members of the warehouse team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by delivering complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to the companys customers.
To supervise the un-loading of all goods ensuring the accuracy of items delivered & obtaining accurate & legible proof of delivery.
Main Accountabilities:
To ensure the vehicle is loaded in accordance to its plated capacity & that the load is fully protected and secured for safe transportation & delivery.
Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames, customers needs, speed limits & EU driving time regulations
Delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies to Warehouse Manager
Maintain and monitor vehicle maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security and quality processes
Maintain a safe driving record free of violations
Follow company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Experience & SkillsEssential:Clean Driving License.
Self-motivated, reliant, diligent and numerate.
Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work unsupervised.
FLT Counterbalance
Desirable:Driver CPC
Experience in a similar role.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
1)Prepare vehicle for operation by:
Ensuring that the vehicle is loaded in accordance to its plated capacity.
Ensuring that the load is fully protected and secured for safe transportation & delivery whilst maintaining quality of the product.
2)Inspect truck tyres, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind.
3)Ensure vehicles are kept clean & tidy at all times and all defects are reported.
4)Assist in the unloading of goods at customer premises as and when required and when it is safe to do so.
5)Verifying the accuracy of delivery paperwork versus packs delivered and obtaining proof of delivery (signature, printed name and date).
6)Reporting of any/all damage and shortages relating to deliveries.
7)Ensure vehicle is secured at all times and keys removed at all times when left un-attended.
8)Ensure the use company fuel cards is restricted to company vehicles only and all fuel receipts are return to the Warehouse Manager weekly.
9)Perform any other Warehouse duties as instructed.
10)Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required
11)Comply with Standard Code of Working Practices.
12)Comply too health & safety procedures/regulations at all times.

Hours of work:
-07:00 16:00hrs (Must be flexible as some variation is required and is dependant of delivery route assigned)
