Highly regarded independent broker have a vacancy for a Commercial Claims Handler. The role will involve assisting in the presentation, negotiation and settlement of commercial claims, taking details of the claim from the client and arranging for the appropriate claim documents to be submitted. You will liaise closely with your clients, the Account Executives and/or Loss Adjusters if appropriate in order to progress the claim This can involve client visits or insurer visits where required. In addition you will provide claims history and statistics for renewal negotiations

Knowledge of all commercial classes is paramount and candidates must have property and liability claims experience from either a commercial broking or insurer environment. You will have delegated claims authority up to 5000.

A team playing attitude is required as you form an important link between client and insurer. Insurance qualifications preferable. Competitive salary and bonus available, Start date ASAP
