Job Summary:

To handle straightforward personal injury cases in order to obtain compensation for clients.To contribute to the departments revenue targets and to develop legal skills in order to progress to further roles within the department.

Role and Responsibilities:

To progress personal injury cases in a timely manner to a satisfactory conclusion for the client.To be capable of resolving cases where liability is more complicated.To handle cases prior to litigation with the aim of achieving settlement through negotiation.To progress cases through inception to conclusion with modest supervision and guidance where appropriate.

Candidate profile - technical and behavioural:

Good confident telephone mannerGood communicator in both written and spoken EnglishClear understanding of customer requirements and a commitment to customer serviceMust be computer literate with experience of use of a case management system desirableMust have a willingness to learn and be able to turn work around efficientlyMust demonstrate a proactive approach and consistent attention to detail
