Shifts arebetween 9-9pm Monday to Friday and 9-5pm Saturdays (1 in 2)

Job Purpose
The purpose of the role is to contact prospective and existing customers via the telephone to gain their agreement to have a General Insurance Quotation , and to provide a high quality, professional and efficient service for our customers.

The prospective customers will have some existing link to the Society.

Areas of Responsibility

Ensure all scripts are followed compliantly and dependent on segmentation to gain agreement from the customer to have a General Insurance Quotation , and adapting the script to meet customers needs. Ensure all key performance indicators both individually and the teams are met in relation to quality of call and Quotation opportunities achieved. To handle both outgoing and inbound calls from customers in a competent and brand compliant manner. Identify opportunities for improvements in productivity, customer service, sales and reduction in cost where possible. Preparation and provision of statistical information as required by the Outbound Manager Prepare for each call using the appropriate information on the client and obtain and record all relevant information to support the sales process and update the relevant systems Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, other departments and the sales force. Contribution to the goal of continually improving the quality and volume of work.Skills and Qualifications
