Job purpose
To provide support and assistance to the Proposals Manager to ensure Contractors Proposals and bid information is produced to the highest standards to best convey Interserves strengths and qualities to meet the bid specification.
The role involves working flexibly to assist with the formulation of design teams, development of proposals that mitigate risk and maximise opportunity in response to the Client brief and presenting these to Clients.
Responsibilities
Reviewing tender documentation to identify key requirements, bid deliverables, risks, insufficient and inadequate information;Production of bid documents, brochures, handouts and presentations;Managing external print and reprographics partners to deliver finished products to deadlines;Organising and attending strategy meetings;Organisation & distribution of tender information to relevant parties;Completion of company procedural documentation;Assisting in the management of the bid process;Acting as an interface between the supply chain, design team and bid management;Preparing presentations and attending interviews;Organising and attending tender stage design meetings;Assisting in the production of Contractors Proposal documents;Collating and managing response information based on Client requirements.
Knowledge skills & experience
Experience of working in a bidding/proposals role where tight deadlines and multiple projects need to be managed simultaneously; Experience of working in a design/illustration environment; Experience of working within a bidding role within a Construction company (desirable); Experienced user of inDesign; Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.).

Ability to work independently and under the supervision of the Proposals Manager; Conscientious with an attention to detail; Ability to work to tight deadlines; Effective communication skills both written and spoken; Ability to work with and motivate a team; Ability to take on board feedback and implement improvement; Construction knowledge and commercial appreciation; HNC/D or degree level (or equivalent).
