Our Leeds based client is a leading consultancy focused on developing solutions covering structural geology, geophysics, petroleum engineering and software development. Due to continued success, they now have an immediate opening for a Graduate Software Developer with extensive C or C++ skills.

This exciting entry level role will involve working within a team of experienced software developers on the development of in-house and commercial software tools for the visualization and analysis of subsurface geology. You will be reporting to the lead developer and have the opportunity to work with all the latest technologies. Applications are invited from recent graduates with strong C and/or C++ skills and knowledge of object orientated principles. It would be advantageous to have GUI development in Winforms or equivalent, 2D/3D graphics programming experience and a solid base in maths or physics. You will be genuinely interested in technology, be innovative, eager to learn and possess the communication skills to liaise both internally and externally as your career grows.

The successful candidate can expect an initial salary of circa 18-20k dependent upon your previous software development exposure. You can also expect the very best in ongoing training and a competitive benefits package.
