One of the UK's leading professional services companies is currently looking to recruit an experienced and technically sound Helpdesk & Support Analyst at their Leeds office. The company is the 7th largest accounting firm in the UK and is recognised as one of the most progressive and entrepreneurial in the country.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will be entail providing 1st line support via telephone, email or in person to clients across the UK. You will act as a trouble-shooter, analysing IT problems and helping support the user in diagnosing and resolving all issues, or referring queries on for further investigation, ensuring that the quality of assistance provided to users is consistently of the highest level. You will be expected to keep the call logging software up to date, documenting full analysis as well as resolution of issues, and analyse call logs in order to spot common trends and underlying problems.

The ideal candidate for the role will have some experience in 1st Line IT Support, and will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of workstation and laptop hardware together with an understanding of operating systems including Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7. You will also be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Client/Server IT infrastructure, as well as of LAN / WAN IT infrastructure.

You will be have excellent communication skills, and a good level of initiative, able to assess each different users' level of IT knowledge and adapt your diagnosis accordingly. You will be well organised, with a keen eye for detail plus a proactive and flexible attitude.
