We are currently looking to recruit a talented experienced Logistics Manager to join us in our success and to assist in driving our business forward.

The Role of Logistics Manager:

The purpose of this role is to focus on the planning, organisation, distribution and management of goods.Having the awareness and ability to strategically respond to external influences, such as legislation, fuel cost and environmental pressures is essential for this role.

Key Focus:


- Conversion planning and control.

-Warehouse control.

-Vehicle movement internally.

-Management of dispatch and forwarding of finished parts to clients.

-Freight control and negotiation with transport providers.

-Full inventory management control and Stock accuracy.

-Providing exceptional reporting relating to stock availability as required.

-Implementing and improving process and efficiencies with our current systems to drive the business forward.

To be a successful Logistics Manager in our business you will need:

-Previous experience of Logistics Management or Supply Chain ideally within the Manufacturing industry.

-A back ground in process and practice improvement within Logistics, ideally previous experience or exposure to working with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen principles.

-Commercially aware able to manage numerous projects at once, a strong organiser able to prioritise in accordance with business and client needs.

-To provide professional departmental leadership, encompassing all aspects of people management and development.

-Competence in the use of Microsoft Office.

-Excellent organisational and communication skills.
