This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual looking to develop their marketing knowledge and skills and join our clients team based in South Birmingham. The successful candidate will work to support the marketing team on all marketing communications, primarily their website, SEO, PPC and using social media platforms to increase their online presence and increase sales.

Role Profile:

You will be responsible for keeping their website up to date with all new products, event and promotions etc. You would also be involved in helping to develop their company website using social media such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter etc. You would also monitor their online advertising campaigns such as Google AdWords with the aim to increase site traffic, generate leads and online sales.

Working as part of a small team you will be expected to cover other responsibilities including;

Competitor analysis.
Producing reports.
Organising their exhibition stand design, build and transportation.
Maintain their customer database.
Coordinate mail and e-shots.
Liaise and negotiate with printers.
Monitor stock and place orders for marketing materials and promotional items
Customer liaison face to face and telephone contact with customers for product or online enquiries

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage such a role. Ideally you will have experience of using website systems, Microsoft Office packages, Google Analytics, SEO and PPC campaigns such as Google AdWords. Experience of utilising online social media platforms in business is desirable as the successful candidate will be responsible for building links, generating content, monitoring and updating these regularly to enhance their customers online experience.

They are looking for a team player to fill this creative and hands on role, a person who is self motivated, can work effectively and efficiently, good at generating new ideas and can make a valued contribution to the team. Excellent communication skills are also essential. Ideally you would have at least 1 years Social Media, SEO or PPC in business experience.

Travel will be required as part of this role along with lifting and handling of exhibition equipment. Some overnight stays across the UK will be required therefore a full, clean driving licence is required and the confidence and ability to drive a van if required.

About Our Client:

G&M were established over 50 years ago and are a well-established distribution company in the healthcare industry, specifically the orthotic market. G&M are well known within their market for high quality orthopaedic goods, an extensive product range and good customer service.

Full product training will be given on their orthotic product range and a company vehicle will be made available for exhibition purposes.

Salary: 16k + DOE
