NETWORK SECURITY ANALYST - Leeds

Our entire IT infrastructure is supported by a complex range of IT systems which keep everything in our shops, support functions and online on the go. For a business that relies so heavily on advanced technology, they're vital to everything we do. Working in such a fast-moving environment, our support services need to be as dynamic as the betting markets themselves.

We are currently looking for a Network Security Analyst to maintain the high availability and integrity of the William Hill network infrastructure. The Network Security Analyst must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the importance of the William Hill network infrastructure, the extent to which it influences the success of the business and William Hills reliance on its successful operation.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Configuration and implementation of new network equipment

Network trend analysis and capacity planning

Provide expert support for the Field Services Helpdesk, 3rd party Engineers, and internal departments

Assist and carry out regular security audits of systems to ensure continued system integrity

Take lead role in project work impacting infrastructure, including planning, managing issues and risks and implementation

Essential criteria:

CCNP/CCSP certifications

Sound knowledge of IT

Demonstrable investigative and analysis capability

Strong communication (verbal/written) and influencing skills

Knowledge of technical security architectural principles would an advantage

Experience of providing network/security consultancy on projects is desirable
