Manchester City Football Club The Premier League champions and most talked about Football Club on the planet, have a new mancunian in town this summer

The Mancunian will change the way you experience football and redefine the way you think about football hospitality. This vibrant dining facility will accommodate 250 persons with hospitality pre and post match. The modern style menu offering is complimented with new world wines and an array of bottled beers.

Responsibilities include:

Manage the smooth running of the restaurant on match and event days, maximising sales and profit in agreement with the General Manager

Oversee and enhance the restaurant service and product delivery to ensure operational and quality excellence

Co-ordinate a cohesive and seamless customer experience from arrival to departure

Hold pre-opening match day briefs ensuring key messages are delivered in a motivational manner

Deliver training for the staff as part of the opening training programme

Hold regular feedback meetings with the General Manager

Ensure that agreed staffing levels are in place and adhered to

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of financial management with regard to the restaurant budget

Essential skills/experience required:

Experience of operational management within a fine dining restaurant environment

Demonstrates in appearance and behaviours the qualities required for the high end fine dining environment

High level of communication skills and business acumen

Can identify quality food service and culinary culture

Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining focus on attention to detail

Financial awareness and numeracy

Planning logistics and timeline compliance

Demonstrates strong Leadership skills

Sets and maintains high standards of work performance and delivers quality, consistently and efficiently

Desirable skills/experience required:

Displays an entrepreneurial drive, seeking and identifying future business opportunities

Skilled in training/coaching/mentoring

Culinary training/experience

Demonstrates a creative nature

Experienced in people care and development
