EnerMech is an established international provider of mechanical services solutions to the oil and gas industry. Due to continued growth we have recently opened an engineering office in Bristol and are now looking to strengthen the team further.
The office is currently expanding quickly and we are looking for excellent engineers with the potential to grow with the office.

Job Purpose

To maintain the mechanical integrity and functionality of current designs and to produce new solutions for our customers
Main Responsibilities
Production of design concepts and schemes, the approval of associated drawings mechanical and structural drawings, using CAD. (mainly AutoCAD)
Analysing historical and current maintenance data and revaluating old design to current specifications
Preparation of detailed reports (FEED submissions, work packs) and mechanical maintenance procedures.
Concept design, specification and installation of new build equipment.
Undertake client visits to support specific projects as required this could include international travel and/or offshore visits
Adhering to company and client document control standards, ensuring consistent checking/approval of drawings and data
Project reporting and liaison with the client
Approval of installation and test procedures. Checking delivery of finished product and related certification

Qualifications

Essential
HND in Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification

Preferred
BEng in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or a similar qualification

Experience, Competence, Skills & Knowledge

Essential
Strong CAD skills, preferably with AutoCAD
Analytical and mathematical skill associated with large industrial machinery
Management and decision making within large industrial projects
Experience of oil and gas / equivalent industries or if a recent graduate strong academic skills and a demonstrable ability to learn quickly
Computer literate in MS Office packages

Preferred
Experience of large mechanical lift or materials handling machinery
Experience of preparing reports for a regulated industry
Experience with control systems (Electric / Hydraulic / Pneumatic)
