Web Administrator

Purpose of Job / Key Objectives
The web administrator will be responsible for updating content across all the websites for which Serco Leisure has responsibility. The key objective of the role will be to liaise with departmental website champions to receive required content changes and to work closely with marketing managers to ensure that the content on the websites is proactively added to and updated in a timely and efficient manager.
Principal DutiesConduct regular audits of websites to identify out of date or insufficient content
Liaise with marketing managers to agree a timetable of proactive content updates
Liaise with departmental website champions to receive reactive and ongoing updates to content
Liaise with departmental website champions and marketing manager to update relevant social media channels/products
To upload emergancy alert notices to websites
Identify issues (e.g. websites offline, problems with bookings) to the Digital Media Manager
To work with the marketing managers to ensure the websites are an effective marketing/commnuncations tool.
To assist the Digital Media Manager in the implementation of new website functionality e.g. Social Media
Qualification LevelExperience of web editing/administration (essential)
Qualification in website design, graphic design or similar (desirable)
Experience LevelExperience of working with websites and content management systems
Experience of writing copy for online or offline publications
Previous experience of working in a similar role
Essential SkillsExcellent literacy skills (including writing copy and proofreading)
Excellent planning and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
A good communicator with people of all levels within the organisation;
Open, honest and hardworking with a can do attitude
Proactive and quick to learn
Has the ability to work alone and with other team members
Committed to delivering good quality work on time
