EnerMech is an established international provider of mechanical services solutions to the oil and gas industry. Due to continued growth both overseas and within the UK we are looking for draughtsmen to work permanently in the newly opened Bristol office.

Job Purpose

To maintain the mechanical integrity and functionality of current designs and to produce new mechanical engineering solutions for our customers.

Main responsibility

To support the project team in the production of mechanical and structural drawings and documents
Analysing historical and current maintenance data and revaluating old design to current specifications
Preparation of detailed reports, work packs and mechanical maintenance procedures.
Support on site staff with the maintenance of existing and the commissioning of new build equipment
Undertake site surveys to support specific projects as required this could include international travel and/or long offshore visits
Adhering to company and client document control standards, ensuring consistent checking of documents, drawings and data
Project reporting and liaison with Senior Project engineers
Assist in the production of installation and test procedures. Checking delivery of finished product and related quality documents
Assist other department personnel in ongoing manufacture and maintenance projects as required.
To manage project, drawings and quality documents flow the companies procedure

Qualifications

Essential
HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification or experience

Preferred
BEng/HND in Mechanical, Structural or Civil Engineering or a similar Qualification.

Experience

Understanding of engineering drawings and terminology. Mathematically literate with engineering experience associated with large mechanical lift or large industrial machinery
Information management skills in the production of drawings and documents
Experience of oil and gas / equivalent industries or if recently qualified strong academic skills and a demonstrable ability to learn quickly
Computer literate in MS Office Packages and CAD skills, preferably with AutoCAD
