Senior Software Engineer - up to 70K + bens - London

A Senior Software Engineer is required fora market leader in PC and Server Power management Software. They haveover20 million Software licenses across the world with companies such as Microsoft, Nestle, BT and British Airways. Their products are used in 42 countries and they are a Microsoft Gold Partner.

The Job

1. To write high quality software to specification, on-time and on-budget

2. To be involved in all development lifecycle stages

3. To support our external customers when required

The ideal candidate will have a track record in Software product development in a fast moving and leading edge IT environment.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject (IT, Mathematics, Engineering)

- Experience in developing for Windows using C and/or C++.

- Practical experience working as part of an Agile Development team; including unit testing and continuous integration techniques

- Strong database understanding/development experience with SQL Server

- Experience in so me of the following: WMI, Win 32/64, TCP/IP, RPC, MMC, COM, Virtualization and Service applications - Strong COTS development or hosted services development within a software house
- An understanding of core Windows Server technologies such as Active Directory, TCP/IP Networking, Group Policy etc.

- ASP.NET, Web Services, Reporting

-.Net technologies such as WPF and WCF

- Team Lead experience

-Azure exposure
