We currently offer an exciting opportu nity for a Receptionist to join one of its fastest growing contracts. The right person will be based at UK House in Central London and will embrace our freedom to perform culture and exemplify and promote our objectives and values: Teamwork, Heart, Enterprise and Responsibility.
The prospective employee will be expected to carry out receptionist duties on a high profile client site which demands excellent standards at all times.

Requirements
Confident in meeting, greeting whilst being firm. Able to handle pressure and work on own initiative. Motivated and keen to learn/take responsibility. Competent in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience in use of telephone switchboard. Customer care skills, upholding a good attitude, self motivated with a proactive approach. Any other reasonable tasks as required by the line m anager
Responsibilities
To provide a professional reception service to all external and internal customers.
To be responsible for general administration to support the smooth running of the office, including photocopying, binding, taking messages and passing on, managing faxes and corresponding via e-mail as appropriate.
To receive incoming visitors and ensure all appropriate security measures are followed by their signing in and out. This is to include the issue of retrieval of temporary visitors passes and badges.
To interpret the needs of the customer and respond accordingly either directly, or take the appropriate action, report any major areas of concern to the Customer Services Manager.
To Record and maintain contractor attendance records and ensure they are suitably managed whilst on site in terms of approved access, signing in and collection of documentation upon completion.
To provide main reception cover for fe llow receptionist during annual holidays or sickness throughout the year.
To act as focal point for stationery stock-control/ordering and ensure stock levels are monitored and replenished using own initiative.
To support with booking and co-ordinating meetings, conferences and functions together with associated tasks including lunches and refreshments to facilitate the managements roles.
To support with opening and directing incoming post, franking and preparing post for collection, signing for parcels and being responsible for courier collections and deliveries as required by the business.
To communicate courteously with internal and / or external customers by telephone, email and face to face, building positive relationships, investigating, responding to and progressing issues and queries to a successful conclusion at the earliest time.
To carry out First Aid and Fire Warden training and will be take lead in emergency situations requiring thi s action whilst on site.
