SOC Line Senior Specialist - Kent

I am currently with a leading consulting organisation who are looking for a SOC Specialist to join their ever expanding team.

You will join the team and provide technical support on all security issues, in the process liaising with customers and vendors. You will support both new and existing products that fall under responsibility of the team.

Potential candidates must have:

- One of the following qualifications - CCSP, Checkpoint CCSA, CCS E, CISSP, CCNA or CCNP.
- A strong and proven background working with Cisco and Checkpoint systems and devices.
- Previous experience managing and delivering customer network solutions.
- A strong knowledge of Internet and IP skills.
- Additional experience in any of the following Vendor security technologies would also be advantageous - Checkpoint Firewall, Blue Coat Proxy, Blue Coat AV, Juniper SSL, IDS/IPS and/or Secure Client.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

- Working and resolving complex incidents, problems and changes within the Operational environment.
- Working with customers on technical data requirements.
- Manage and lead a team of Security specialists in a operational environment.
- Carry out Security Solutions Technical Consultancy in support of customer project work.

All potential candidates for this role MUST meet the minimum criteria to gain Security Clearance, excellent commu nication skills on all levels are a must.
