Digital Media Manager

Our Group Marketing function has an international focus with responsibility for brands including West, JPS, Davidoff, Gauloises, Drum and Golden Virginia.
Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will contribute and support in thedevelopment of digital media, collaboration strategies and solutions for consumer engagement across countries, functions and platforms. Work alongside the Senior Digital Media Manager in implementing the collaboration solutions into the business activities, develop and drive social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the Company to ensure its effectiveness and measurement. Encourage adoption of relevant collaboration techniques into the corporate culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support alongside the Senior Digital Media Manager in the development of strategy, governance, best practices, digital media tools, vendor and agency relations and the assessment of opportunities for consumer engagement in digital media.Ability to evaluate digital capabilities of agencies and vendors and manage them to obtain optimal resultsSupport the Senior Digital Media Manager in developing and delivering a digital communications strategy to effectively communicate to our stakeholders. Own the process for establishing governance, standards, processes and training for social media engagement. Be actively involved in the employee activation including training development and rollout, development of best practice toolbox and communication of the new approaches to the organisation.Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize resultsMarket and present web/digital strategies to diverse audiences, manage multiple projects and maintain schedules and budgets.Work with marketing teams and other functions to define appropriate consumer engagement platforms and requirements for social media activities.Monitor trends in digital andsocial media tools, trends and applicationsDefine and set key measurement criteria for digital and social activityCandidate Essential Requirements:
A professional Marketing or Web-based qualification is required (BSc or equivalent).Experience of working with Digital Media, Digital Marketing, Social Media in a leading consumer goods or technology company in a similar role.In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and emerging digital trends and opportunities and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.A results driven marketer who is prepared to take calculated risksIn depth knowledge of SEO and SEM and their application in a results driven environmentProject management skills demonstrated in a previous role.Excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to articulate and defend recommendations.Self starter and pro active, with a conviction to deliver against tight timescales, overcoming setbacks and obstacles using a positive and pragmatic attitude within the business and their everyday work.Experience of planning and organising several projects concurrently.Excellent technical understanding and ability to pick up new digital media tools quickly.Excellent written and spoken English language skills.Additional Asian language skills are a distinct advantage for this role.Working Relationships:Internal:Strategy & Innovation, Group Marketing and Brand Marketing teams, Corporate Communications, Corporate Affairs, and Group Legal, Regional and local teams.
