The company is looking to recruit an exceptional Operations Director as part of the senior management team in order to substantially grow the business.

Responsibilities
Ensure the companies warehouse and processing (print and embroidery) meets company demands on speed, quality, reliability of service and cost.
Day to day management of warehouse and processing.
Ensuring rapid response and accurate order fulfillment on customised (printed, embroidered) and plain products to allow the company to promote speed as a key differentiator.
Review, recommendation, integration of new business processes, operations and acquisitions.
Key Accountabilities
To direct the performance of the warehouse and processing (print and embroidery), in line with business strategy and objectives. To ensure a culture of continuous improvement and coach, lead and manage employees to embrace never-ending improvement in safety, productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
1. To monitor, manage and control.
Manufacturing costs.
Warehouse costs.
Site costs.
Wastage.
Returns.
Warehouse costs.
Courier / Postage Charges.
2. Forecast and Budgeting
Forecast, budget and manage operating capacity (people and machinery) in line with sales. Ensure accurate stock records. Forecast, budget, reforecast and manage stock.
3. Research and Implement Machinery and Systems
To research and implement improvements to warehouse, operations and management systems.
To create and document distribution and processing systems
To integrate new processes, operations and equipment in order to expand the business.
4. Site and Machinery
Responsible for management, maintenance and repair of site and all machinery and equipment.
To Research and recommend equipment and capital expenditure with justification.
5. Quality and Health and Safety
Ensure consistent and satisfactory product quality. Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedures and compliance with legal requirements (supported by outside resources).
6. Leadership
Ensure a success driven culture and to recruit, manage, train, develop and motivate team of 20 people in administration, warehouse, dispatch, print and embroidery .
7. Strategy and Goal Setting
To work as part of the senior management team to develop and implement strategy set and achieve demanding goals. To report on progress against KPIS. Risk identification, mitigation and contingency planning.
Work Experience
Minimum 10 years in manufacturing.
Proven track record in a high growth business environment.
A good knowledge of modern quality and manufacturing principles such as Lean.
