WANTED:
Service Co-ordinator for our home help and personal care support services
Do you have knowledge of providing care services for older people?
Do you have experience of recruiting and co-ordinating staff?
Can you multi task in a fast paced environment?
Do you have recognised care qualification to level 3 or above?
Age Concern Birmingham is the largest charity providing care and support to people over the age of 50 years across Birmingham and surrounding areas.
We are working in partnership with Jubilee Citizens to deliver Home Support and Personal Care Domiciliary services for older people and others in need, ensuring a high quality of service delivery to people in their own homes.

Permanent contract, full time hours with some on call work

What are we asking for?
A commitment to the work of Jubilee Citizens UK and, in particular, to providing quality services to older people
A knowledge and understanding of providing home support and personal care services
Previous experience of recruiting and co-ordinating staff
An understanding of care needs and experience of assessing these
A recognised care qualification to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Enthusiasm for the role
Good communication skills, both in writing and in person
Organised, able to prioritise and able to use own initiative
Flexible and adaptable approach
Motivated to respond to the needs of older people
Ability to travel around the Birmingham area with own transport
