Family Support Worker x4(Tenancy Support)

Part-time, either 20 or 30 hours per week

Action for Childrens newly commissioned Foundations Project works with families in the North Manchester area.

Its designed to give them short term/ early support in emergency housing situations like eviction, anti-social behaviour, drug/alcohol and mental health issues, unemployment and parenting concerns.

As a Family Support Worker, youll help to equip families with the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to deal with their problems and maintain their tenancies.

Youll also offer assessments and co-ordinate with relevant agencies such as local authority family intervention services, the police and education services, and do outreach work with families in their own homes where necessary.

Youll need:

Experience working with familiesAbility to engage families in identifying their needs

While youre taking action for children, well be taking action to make sure youre fulfilled, with ongoing support and training.
