We are seeking the services of a clinical Procurement Consultant for an Acute Trust in the south (UK). You must have extensive experience of taking out significant cost from within a clinical environment, able to manage clinicians effectively, have a deep knowledge of clinical items and/or suppliers and be able to provide substantive evidence of previous delivery. You must be available (or soon to be) as this assignment is due to commence in days.
A number of cost saving initiatives have already been indentified but are yet to be delivered. You will be required to deliver outstanding projects as well as identify further cost saving opportunities. You will need to be commercially minded and possess excellent communication skills as contract negotiation will form a sizable part of your role.
