M&E Maintenance Account Manager - London

Our client is looking for a Account Manager with a strong background in hard services management (M+E). This is an exciting opportunity for an established manager looking for a new challenge or an aspiring manager ready to take the next step in Management.
This role is to look after a single key account in London City, with 3 buildings. The end user client is a blue chip organisation so good relationship skills are essential.The account value for base maintenance is just over 1 million, with any additional works & projects on top of this, taking the value to 1.5 million.
You will have 1 contract manager and 2 supervisors reporting directly into you, with a team of 8 hands on staff. You will also be respsonsible for support services including a performance manager and admin support.
Key Job role:
1. To manage the complete delivery planned preventative maintenance programme for the mechanical & electrical services for the contract
2. To manage maintenance engineers responsible for the day to day delivery of the planned preventative maintenance programme
3. To manage any specialist sub-contractors necessary to deliver the planned preventative maintenance programme
4. To manage response cover against all reactive calls arising out of the planned preventative maintenance programme
5. To manage all commercial aspects of the planned preventative maintenance programme
6. To manage all information necessary to monitor the performance of the contract against the SLA?s and the associated KPI?s
7. To manage any additional works arising out of the planned preventative maintenance programme
8. To liaise with the clients Facilities Management Team regarding all aspects of the mechanical & electrical services maintenance
9. To meet with the clients Facilities Management Team for the purpose of review of the contract performance

Main Duties
1. To daily liaison with the clients Facilities Management Team regarding all aspects of the planned preventative maintenance programme
2. To create and administer cover for all reactive call-outs arising from the planned preventative maintenance programme
3. To create and administer planned preventative programme of work
4. To review and appoint any specialist sub-contractors required to deliver the planned preventative maintenance programme
5. To have commercial control of the planned preventative maint enance programme
6. To produce supplementary quotations to the client for additional works arising out of the planned preventative maintenance programme meeting
7. To produce monthly performance figures for the contract review
8. To facilitate a monthly contract review meeting with the clients facilities management team
9. To produce a weekly/monthly commercial report for the company?s Service & Maintenance Director

Qualifications and Experience
1. Recognised technical qualifications preferably to HNC
2. A proven career in management of mechanical & electrical building services maintenance
3. At least 7-9 years experience in the maintenance of mechanical & electrical building services
4. At least 5 years experience in the management of mechanical & electrical building services maintenance
5. A team builder and leader with good organisational skills, good communication skills coupled with good IT skills
6 . Recognised Health & Safety Training desirable
