Investigo are representing Top Tier Investment Bank who are seeking someone financial controls/reporting experience who has had systems/projects exposure.

You will carry out the following:

Review and critically assess BRD's in terms of relevance to financial reporting and adherence to best practiceAssessment of data migration run-books and Code release support activitiesLiaison with Change teams to understand the development pipeline and front-run any business impactRegular liaison with Global Financial Reporting and Financial Control Line teams to drive process efficiency and governance Attendance at working group meetings to represent the Global Finance Reporting view and agendaIdentify opportunities to enhance the control structure governing the primary strategic systemsDevelop metrics to observe and measure the successfulness of strategic system integration into the reporting functionProvide support to the other functions within the Global Financial Reporting team during reporting period

Support the design and development teams with the build out of the strategic subledger architecture

Personal requirements:

University degree or equivalentQualified accountant with an understanding of a relevant functional area such as financial reporting or technical accounting in an investment bankKeen analytical skills.The initiative and curiosity to challenge current processes and develop effective alternative solutionsProven interpersonal, influencing and team working skills and the ability to communicate at multiple levelsStrong control awareness includin g understanding key controls required in an investment bank
