The role will involve providing day to day compliance advise to the equity sales and trading team.
Duties:
Providing a compliance advisory service to the equity sales and trading team
Developing policies and procedures
Providing support to the rest of the compliance team both regionally and globally on various project initiatives
Assisting in ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are employed in the relevant sales and trading businesses across the firm
Working with the rest of the European Securities Division compliance team on ad-hoc EMEA initiatives and projects
General management duties
Experience required:
Ideally 10 + years regulatory experience within an investment bank; preferably within a sales and trading environment
Equity product knowledge, with cash equity experience particularly desirable
Familiarity with European; specifically UK compliance issues and relevant law and regulation
Extensive management experience
