Springer, a leading scientific publisher are looking to recruit a Java Developer to join our London based software development team working on Springer's portfolio of websites:

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about creating professional websites and will have a great deal of experience working with Javausing Spring MVC and with web technologies such as JavaScript. Good knowledge of XML related technologies is also a must.

Main Duties:

The role will involve working in an agile team building new web based products. The successful applicant will join a newly formed team tasked with creating innovative solutions and will have the opportunity to help shape the teams use of technologies.

Essential

Commercial experience in:

oXML and XSLT

oUnit testing and Test Driven Development

oJavaScript, HTML and CSS

oAgile development methodologies such as XP

oJSON/REST

oEnterprise-Content-Management-Systems (CoreMedia)

Graduate calibre or equivalent experience
