My client based in the Northern Home Counties requires an Interim Head of Maintenance for a 6 month assignment with a view to a permanent appointment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and forward thinking organisation and for the right candidate, this position may become permanent with an annual salary of circa 45,000 per annum.

Working across a large and complex portfolio, you will take responsibility for an in-house team and external contractors delivering planned and reactive maintenance and statutory compliance across the building fabric and building services across the estate.

Key experience:

Management of Mechanical, Electrical, Fabric and Statutory compliance works

Management of a DLO with varying skill sets

Procurement and management of external contractors

Management of budgets in excess of 2 million

Experience of sourcing / tendering and appointing outsourced contractors / service providers

Management of outsourced contractors / service providers by way of SLAs

Substantial team management ability

Experience of troubleshooting

About you:

You will be professionally qualified with a proven track record as in a maintenance management role in either a client-side or service provider organisation.

You will be available at reasonably short notice for both interview and if successful, appointment.
