Java Developer - Futures and Options - Investment Banking
Java, Spring, Oracle and UNIX
This is an opportunity for a technical Java developer with up to 5 years' experience, to join a stable and well regarded team of highly technical Java developers within the futures and options IT area of a leading Investment Bank. To fit into this team you should have experience of the full software development lifecycle and be prepared to be involved in analysis, coding and support. The bank uses in house designed low latency trading systems. This is a test driven Agile environment.
If you are to fit into this team you must be a highly numerate developer who enjoys problem solving and is capable of working to your own initiative. You must have experience of multi-threaded Java development, ideally within a UNIX environment. Experience of Spring would be advantageous.
Hatstand, a niche Financial IT Consultancy runs a 2 year programme in conjunction with leading global investment banks. This scheme is aimed at recent graduates with 1-5 years of work experience. Previous financial services experience is not essential as Training on financial products and functional programming is provided where necessary during the course of the role.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK from the date of commencement.
