Overall Purpose of Job

The Caterpillar nursery provides high quality care and education to children aged 3 months to five years. The nursery supports CPWs effort to develop strong work life balance for its employees and in particular supports parents with young children to continue to develop their careers.

Duties & Responsibilities

To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.To work as part of a team in order to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team representative of the EYFSTo work in partnership with the parents/carers to provide consistent high quality care and education w hich meets the needs of each family.To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery and to ensure all childcare documentation are completed accurately and are up to date.To assess, observe, plan, monitor and record childrens activities in order to maintain a childs all round development.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalentMust have a sound knowledge of the EYFSAble to demonstrate flexibility within job role
