Superb opportunity for an Android Developer with 1-2 years experience to design and build mobile solutions for my client, a leading supplier of IT Solutions.

The role covers full life-cycle product development, support and technical consultancy.
This will involve maintenance and enhancement of existing systems within my client's product sets as well as new product development.
With a strong emphasis on hands-on development, this role will also involve co-ordination with other teams.

The mobile solutions currently supported are based around J2ME and NFC on consumer level handsets. The role will involve taking over responsibility for these solutions and implementing them on new platforms ie. Android.

Core competencies:

*Ability to prioritize and work independently in a pressured environment and to rigid timescales
*Ability to communicate with Customer Representatives to capture business requirements and present functional solutions
*Ability to see and work towards a long-term vision whilst meeting the immediate demands of maintaining and enhancing "live" products
*Ability to work remotely with the off-shore team to set, prioritise and complete tasks.
*Willingness to work with others and work as a team
*Good documentation skills.
