The organisation I am currently representing has an exceptional opportunity for a target driven successful Business Development Manager to join their industry leading brand. The organisation is a leading supplier within the security sector. This role will have national coverage (predominantly South Centric) and you will specifically be selling event secur ity, including but not limited to:
Stewarding, traffic marshalling, crime scene guarding, door supervising, protest security, emergency services assistance
This worldwide employer has a phenomenal brand presence and therefore employ elite sales managers to represent that brand in the market.
You will be responsible for developing relationships with prospective clients including the management of European tender processes whilst liaising internally with Sales, Operations and Depot staff, you should have the skills to influence and negotiate. You will be targeted on new business sales and rewarded highly both with exponential financial remuneration and professional development.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, target driven individual with sales experience and an influencial negotiator who leads from the front. You will need to have the ability to listen and understand the customer as well as their expectations.
Experience Required:
Knowledge of manned guarding / security / event industry (advantageous but not essential)
Experience of sales to property management / high value land owners / government authorities (inc. highways / transport / police etc.) / retail (advantageous but not essential)
Knowledge and experience of Business to business (b2b) service sales (essential)
Experience dealing with SME and or blue chip clientele at a high level
Proven track record of hitting targets
European tendering experience (advantageous but not essential)
