Answering copious amounts of incoming calls for all areas of the business, from how deep is your pool in Preston to I want to speak to the MD about a complaint, youll need to be able to handle just about everything! Youll be speaking with members, prospects and leavers ensuring all calls are answered quickly and efficiently. We believe in first to deal, best to deal, so taking ownership of all queries and issues will definitely your thing. Not calling members back isnt our thing, so youll be making sure all voicemails are retrieved and responded to immediately.
You will be the clubs best friend, working hand in hand and being informative on all the latest activities. You will also handle all prospect enquiries from the marketing campaigns, answering with confidence as you will know our business inside and out. The role involves working shifts between 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday.
Pre-requisites
Sounds enticing to sit down and talk on the phone all day, doesnt it? Well, if you dont already know how hard our Customer Services team work then think about the kinds of things members will challenge you about, it isnt all just chatting you know!
Please make sure your CV contains the following before applying, otherwise we might not be able to take you forward to our interview stage:
Practise of working in a busy call centre environment, consistently achieving set call targets.
Good PC skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Database experience would be beneficial as calls are logged on a bespoke database.
Proven experience in a Customer Service role.
Experience of responding to high volumes of written correspondence via email or letter.
On top of all this, you will need to be calm under pressure and be able to speak freely to absolutely everyone, whilst thinking on your feet.
