Employment Advisor South London

This leading national charity is looking for an Employment Advisor to join its expanding team supporting long term unemployed people with disabilities in London

You will be actively promoting the benefits of working to your clients, breaking down their individual barriers and identifying employment opportunities for them.

This role will be diverse as you work with a wide range of clients who will need different types of support.That support will focus on identifying and overcoming barriers to working which could include confidence building, assessing financial status, re-train ing for the work place etc.

This role is based in Penge but will involve some travel to offices in Wimbledon, Woolwich and Millwall.

Key Skills & Requirements

Experience as an Employment Advisor is essential

Experience working with people with disabilities is desirable

You must have

Good communication skills & empathic approach to clients

Experience in a target-focused environment

Attention to detail & self motivation
A flexible approach to working location

22 - 25k plus good benefits
