Job Description
We are currently looking for an inspirational General Sales Manager to take responsibility for our established Daily Deals field sales force in London.
The Daily Deals platform is our flagship product, offering an enormous variety of premium local businesses within the UK the opportunity to connect with millions of affluent and socially active consumers in an incredibly powerful way.
This is a product that is making an enormous impact on the marketing landscape for local businesses, and were looking for a strong Regional Sales Director to champion the platform and motivate their team to perform at the highest level.
Responsibilities
The successful General Sales Manager will:
Aid in the recruitment of highly able and professional Regional Sales Managers and Field Sales Executives for their team.Supervise, motivate and mentor a number of Regional Sales Managers and Field Sales Executives to ensure the delivery of exceptional sales results.Monitor team performance against target and budget on a monthly and quarterly basis.Maintain personal sales performance where appropriate.Record all ongoing client contact and sales activity using Salesforce.com.Report on a weekly basis to the Managing Dir ector.Possess an unrivalled knowledge of the Daily Deals platform, as well as the rest of the business.Requirements
As the capital, London represents the most lucrative (and competitive) territory in the UK for all social commerce activity. Therefore, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:
Heavily experienced in leading, motivating and training a sizeable sales team, with multiple layers of management.Experienced in reporting sales results at board level on a weekly (and ad-hoc) basis.Experienced in setting targets, introducing incentives and managing underperformance across numerous levels of seniority (where necessary).Proven track record of (both personal and team) success within a variety of targeted field sales roles.First-rate communication and presentation skills, with an unusually pronounced ability to sell at all decision-making levels.Excellent working knowledge of social media, including Facebook and Twitte r.Able to consistently motivate themselves and their team to work in a fast-paced and challenging field sales role, whilst demonstrating an excellent ability to adapt to new situations.Able to work without supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines.Compensation
