Jo b Purpose:

The Oversight Manager will provide day-to-day oversight for the delivery of investment operations and custody/depository services between the Supplier(s) and Threadneedle.This will entail building and managing the relationship with the Supplier(s) on a daily basis; liaising with the Supplier(s) on the provision of the services to ensure that the overall service to Threadneedle not only meets but exceeds requirements; resolving issues escalated to the Oversight function from both the Supplier and Threadneedle business; and managing changes to services and products between the Supplier(s) and Threadneedle.The IOO Oversight Manager will in essence provide first-line support for dealing with the operational issues that may arise where there are interfaces with the Suppliers processes and support infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement best practice processes and tools for oversight covering:

Performance monitoring for review ing on-going service quality

Financial control processes, including operation of the service credit regime

An issue logging, escalation and resolution process

Co-ordinate activities with the IO Service Delivery team in respect of change programmes to provide a seamless programme to the business.

Liaise with the Supplier on changes required to products and services and determine the impact on the service agreements and commercial arrangements between Threadneedle and the Supplier.

Closely monitor performance against SLAs and take the appropriate action where trigger points are crossed.

Address and resolve issues regarding services; and escalate issues to the Head of SICAV and Insurance Operations Oversight if they cannot be resolved locally or have a major impact on service to clients.

Attend the monthly Supplier Management Review meetings to discuss performance against SLAs; change plans and their implementation; and financial matter s.

Ideal Candidate:

Candidates must have 5+ years experience working in the Asset Management industry

The ideal candidate will be working in an Oversight role ready to progress their career

Alternatively candidates will come from an outsourcing function in either Fund Accounting or Investment Operations or will be in-house.

The ability to identify solutions to issues and gain commitment to changes through good influencing and consultative skills

The ability to form strong cross-functional working relationships both within Threadneedle and with the Supplier.

An excellent communicator who can effectively express ideas and requirements both orally and in writing
