We are looking for a passionate individual to join our dynamic marketing team as a Marketing Executive.
Reporting into the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will have a wide and varied role including marketing ownership of the open science journal portfolio, clinical data bases and product launches of new innovative products.
This role requires a proactive and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication, copywriting and project management skills. This is an exciting vacancy which would suit an experienced marketeer looking to take the next step in their career.
Main Duties
Using the full marketing mix to write and fulfil product and journal marketing plans through optimizing websites, development of print and online promotional materials, execution of email and direct mail campaigns and e-newslettersPlanning, coordinating and executing marketing support for the Editorial and wider Marketing teamsAnalyzing and monitoring campaign performance against pre-determined KPIs and compiling comprehensive reporting for internal stakeholdersAssisting in the continued optimisation of BioMed Central Web platformsKeeping up-to-date with industry and competitor developmentsSharing case studies and contributing to best practice within the wider Marketing teamsPerson Specification:
Essential
Educated to degree level or equivalent experienceSignificant experience in an STM or a healthcare marketing role Online marketing skillsStrong reporting and analysis skillsProduct ownership experienceExcellent project management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding attention to detailGood copywriting skillsCampaign optimization and management experienceAbility to work to tight deadlines and react quickly to changing prioritiesExperience of working with a range of teams and projects simultaneouslyDesirable
