TRP has won the exclusive In-venue Retail Licence for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. TRP-run stores will therefore be the sole purchase destinations for ticket holders inside the venues for 2012-branded products from clothing, commemorative pins and mugs to coinage and stamps. The Games take place over a short but intensive trading period in over 90 locations ranging from 20m2 kiosks to a 4000m2 megastore in the Olympic Park and for ticket holders; we will be the product touch point within the Games.

Our objective is to deliver the biggest and bes t event retail operation of all time, selling 4 million items to 10 million ticket holders.

Accountabilities:

Hitting sales targets Health and safety of the outlet Security of the outlet Stock availability within the outlet Implementation of all TRP policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the outlet is fully prepared for trading within the stated operating times; Managing and motivating a team to maximise sales; Delegating tasks to staff as and when required; Monitoring and capturing outstanding performance of your team on a regular basis, producing a testimonial and presenting awards; Following HR policies and procedures for all staff related issues, including disciplinary action where necessary; Timely sign off of daily timesheets for all staff; Holding daily team briefings to update on performance, targets and incentives; Identifying necessary amendments to staffing rosters based on in-games trading realities; Ensuring customers have an exceptional retail experience; Creating a strong working relationship with all on-site management; Completing a trading report at the end of each session sharing suggested ideas for improved sales; Ensuring all display areas follow TRPs merchandising and store layout guidelines; Flexing of resources as necessary to meet customer footfall; Ensuring the safe removal of cash and balancing of tills at the end of each session; Handling and resolving of customer complaints and reporting any unresolved or recurring issues; Exchanging merchandise for customers within TRP policies and procedures;

Any other responsibility that may arise.

If you thrive and enjoy the thrill of working in a unique, fast paced and exciting environment and are able to:

Show at least1 years experience working as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a Retail or Catering role including experience in opening and closing duties and stock control Bring out the magic in all your people Work as part of the team and show strong leadership and self-motivation skills Work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations Work computerised technology and show strong business administration knowledge

Candidates must be able to produce evidence of permission to work in the UK.
