Our client, a Top 20 recognised firm of chartered accountants with a strong Corporate Recovery and Insolvency team require an Experienced Senior Insolvency Administrator/assistant manager to join their Corporate Insolvency team.

Duties:

To managing a corporate caseload of formal insolvency cases incorporating Liquidations and Administrations.Delegate to an d supervise the work of insolvency administrators. Work within budgets so that agreed recovery targets can be achieved, ensure cases are well documented and compliant. Report to managers regularly updates them on case progression and any compliance issues encountered.Correspond with creditors and other stakeholders on cases. Produce draft statutory reports with little supervision. Prepare statement of affairs, deficiency account and an estimated outcome statement, deal with preferential creditor claims and agree more complex unsecured claims.Deal with third party creditors Deal with employees claimsCarry out bonding calculations and arrange insurancesTake responsibility for managing smaller cases ensuring all compliance aspects are dealt with including reporting diary eventsUnderstand director disqualification procedure and be able to draft D reportsUnderstands and adhere to office and departmental procedures and risk management requirements e.g. money laundering, risk manag ement manualBe aware of commercial implications of actions taken on assignment

Required:

CPI qualification is essential. Experience working in a corporate insolvency environment. Be a competent senior insolvency administrator or have the skills and be equipped to make the move up to this level.IPS Skills are essential.Good time management and organisational skills together with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.Ability to supervise and coach junior staff along with setting a good example.Maintain up to date technical awareness in order to carry out role e.g. attend internal training events including National Training courses.
