Senior Electrical Design Enginner - London

My client is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy whose focus is on the design of environmentally-friendly, sustainable buildings. With a full range of engineering services, they devise optimum solutions for projects in a fully integrated and cost effective way.

Scope of the Role:
To work within a team of Design Engineers in their London office, and to undertake design on project s across a range of Commercial projects. Sector includes, new build and major refurbishment projects, including infrastructure upgrades and designs for Corporate end users and Bluechip occupiers within the fit out arena.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Undertaking design of projects with minimal supervision, reporting to Management on a regular basis.
- Concept design and surveys
- Detail design development
- Site inspection and surveysRequirements /

Qualifications:

-Demonstrable previous design experience in electrical engineering.
-Demonstrable experience and understanding of integrated design in buildings.
-Experience of detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines
-Genuine interest in sustainable design and low energy buildings
-Experience in delivering projects from inception to completion, through your own efforts and that of your team
-Good knowledge and competent user of Amtech and Dialux-Familiarity with site practices, and experience of inspections and surveys
-Operational understanding of QA systems
-An appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions
