Blue Chip Property Company in London seeks a Senior Finance Business partner to join their firm. This is a new role to support the retail / office & residential functions, providing commercial business partnering support and financial control for the business.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Provide insight and financial understanding to QBR reporting for sector

Provide strong control & review over sector expenditure

Manage sectoral P&L and capex financial results, working with management team to suggest operational improvements

Lead forecastin g & budgeting process for sector

Provide finance input into property lease transactions including financial reporting implications/appraisal

Work on special projects as required

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

University degree (1st or 2:1 in a demanding subject from a world class university)

Ability to communicate confidently with accountants and non-accountants

Qualified Accountant (ICAEW or equivalent) with strong technical skills 5 years PQE

Strong personal presence, impact, and influencing skills

Strong commercial acumen, with a good understanding of the property sector

Able to manage a portfolio of responsibilities, prioritise and meet tight deadlines

Comfortable working on a big picture or highly detailed basis

Ability to produce well thought through, clearly laid out and expressed schedules and papers
