Location: London , South East Salary: 50,000 per annum Date posted: 10/04/2012 14:31 Job type:Permanent Company: Purely Payroll Contact: Purely Payroll Ref: Totaljobs/21409665 Job ID: 53318840Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll SME to support the Payroll SME Team Leader in the delivery of payroll across the UK ,EMEA, ExPat and Channel Islands.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
Identifying, developing and deploying key enhancements to the payroll provision ensuring robust controls are maintained at all times
Support and drive to improve the delivery of payroll across the UK ,EMEA, ExPat and Channel Island communities through system delivery, change initiatives, training & education of the teams and identification and coordination of all regulatory change
Proactively provide support for BAU processes to UAT in all system based testing within the Group HR System
Working with UAT to devise test plans and support execution of system tests
Providing guidance and support to the Payroll & Reward business in system development and remediation needs
To be the ideal candidate for this role you will have:
Ability to apply knowledge of Oracle/Peoplesoft payroll to a test environment
Problem solving and analysis skills
Ability to initiate plan, manage & deploy change
Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Understanding of all payroll regulatory requirements and ability to initiate any necessary changes required as a result of that change
