Administrator - Human Resources
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, organised, creative and enthusiastic Administrator to work in the Human resources department based at the EDF Energy London Eye.
The holder of this role will ensure the highest standards of administrative support are delivered to all functions of the Human resources team, i.e. Employee Relations, Recruitment and Learning and Development, for both the London Eye and SEA LIFE London Aquarium.
This is an ideal role for someone with very strong administration skills, looking to develop their career further in this field. An interest or experience in Human Resources is a nice to have, however as this is primarily an administration role, priority will be given to candidates with strong administration experience and skills.
This role will include, but not be limited to:
Ensuring all employee files are kept up to date and processing associated paperwork.Administrative support to the recruitment function to include production of contracts of employment, processing all paperwork for new starters.Assisting the L&D and Recruitment teams with administration support when required.Ensuring all employee screening is processed accurately, stored and updated on a timely basisDevelop good relations and liaise with the operational departments regarding HR administration needs; e.g. providing contact detailsAssists the L&D team in the or ganisation and set up of company inductions and other training coursesManages the room booking system to ensure all request are booked in correctly and the inbox is monitored dailyNote taking for meetingsLog nominations for monthly Employee AwardsEducated to A Level standard or equivalent, this role would suit someone who takes on a flexible, organised and professional approach to work, a confident team player withcommitment, integrity and good communication skills.
You should be computer literate, with good experience of using Microsoft office packages; be able to work accurately within a pressurised environment, be pro-active, versatile and able to prioritise work.
As this role sits within the HR department,excellent inter-personal skills are essential,as generally you will be the first point of contact for all employees, directing them to the relevant department to assist them. You will have a creative side, being able to contribute ideas to the department coupled with a can doand flexible attitude.
