At Ernst & Young, our Operational Transaction Services - IT Capability team currently has exciting and challenging opportunities. We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Director who will be able to build on their transactions and commercial experience, to lead a number of diverse and demanding engagements.

Our team delivers a wide range of services, from complex IT due diligence, post-merger integration, carve out/separation, post deal value enhancement through to corporate restructuring. We deliver buy side and sell side engagements for corporate firms and private equity houses across the transaction life-cycle.

Your responsibilities as an Assistant Director in IT Transaction Services will include:

- Advising and supporting clients through the complete deal lifecycle

- Providing a range of sell-side and buy-side IT services

- IT advisory and consulting within a professional services environment

- Providing deep insights on IT aspects of transaction deals that are relevant and valued by clients and readers of the IT Due Diligence reports.

Qualifications/skills youll need as an Assistant Director in IT Transaction Services:

- Extensive experience of corporate transactions, ideally in the performance of IT Due Diligence and/or IT post-merger integration, separation/carve-out assignments

- Senior IT management experience (within an organisation's IT department or on the IT supplier side)

- Very deep knowledge and experience in o ne or more core aspects of a typical IT environment - for example, specialism in Application or Infrastructure Architecture, Systems Integration, Application Development, IT Financials, IT Strategy and Governance, dynamics of an IT function

- Business administration or accounting knowledge (example MBA or CA or CIMA)

- Experience in business development, from opportunity identification to conversion into sales.
